An exciting prospect exists for an enthusiastic, creative and dedicated Visual Art Teacher to join Newcastle Grammar School for a Term 1 long service leave position.
This temporary contract offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a well-established and supportive learning environment.
Key responsibilities
Teach Visual Arts across secondary year levels (Years 7-12)
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and curriculum-aligned lessons
Foster a positive, inclusive and supportive classroom environment
Encourage artistic exploration through a variety of media, techniques and creative practices
Assess student learning and provide meaningful feedback to support growth and achievement
Participate in faculty planning, school events and the broader life of the school
About you
Valid Working with Children Check (essential)
Aligned with the School's values and mission of providing outstanding education to students
Formal teaching qualifications and at least 2 years' experience teaching Visual Art up to senior levels
Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with students, educators, and parents
