Cost Controller – 12‐Month Contract (Melbourne CBD | Hybrid)
Join a leading renewable energy organisation as a Cost Controller supporting major Wind Farm construction projects across the Asia‐Pacific region.
This role sits within the Project Cost Control department the central team responsible for managing all financial aspects of projects under construction.
This is a 12‐month casual contract, working 8 hours per day, based in Melbourne CBD with a hybrid work setup.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare payment claimsand raise claims in line with project progress and contract requirements
Report weeklycash inflows and outflowswith input from the Project Manager
Monitor project financials to ensure expenditure remains within budget
ReportPOC (Percentage of Completion)according to the forecast model and escalated uncertainties promptly
Lead monthlyproject reportingandvariance analysis
Supportproject forecasting and financial modelling
Maintain and update thebilling planfor cashflow management
Raisepurchase requisitionsandpurchase orders
MaintainProject WBS / Network activity structures
Follow up onNCRs,journal recoveries, andaccruals
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree inBusiness Administration,Commerce,Accounting,Project Accounting,Project Management, or related discipline




Experience inCost Controlon largeEPC projects
Strong finance/accounting foundation with reporting and reconciliation capability
Experience inproject controllingand administration within complex project environments
Proficiency inSAPor other large ERP systems
Advanced Excel skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
Solid communication skills, self‐management, and solid work ethic
Structured approach to problem‐solving
Good understanding ofproject management principles
