Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Trailer Technology
Statewide Apprenticeships are seeking an apprentice Trailer Mechanic to join a trucking company in Parafield Gardens.
The position is a full time apprenticeship, working a minimum of 38 hours per week and will be paid as per the relevant award unless otherwise advised.
Duties may include
Working on dog trailers, B-double & other multi combination trailers along with single & multi axle trailers
Service & repair brakes,
suspension, pneumatic & hydraulic systems
Wiring lights
Metal fabrication
About you –
Be committed to undertaking a 48 month apprenticeship
Possess a driver’s licence
Be willing to work a reasonable amount of overtime
Be physically fit
Completed some training within the industry would be highly regarded (ie: auto or fabrication)
