Our valued client based in Sumner, operates a facility specialising in the manufacturing, distribution and recycling of mobile garbage bins and waste management infrastructure.
We are currently seeking an experienced Team Leader - Warehouse & Logistics to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and support day-to-day warehouse and logistics operations.
Lead, motivate and support a warehouse team to achieve operational targets.
Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
Load and unload trailers and trucks safely and efficiently.
Operate counterbalance forklifts in accordance with safety procedures.
Maintain a protected, productive and productive warehouse setting.
Assist with the coordination of stock, deliveries and warehouse activities.
Communicate effectively with team members, drivers and management.
Follow workplace health and safety procedures and company policies.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Current Forklift Licence (LF) with proven counterbalance forklift experience.
Previous warehouse and logistics experience.
Previous Team Leader, Supervisor or leadership experience.
Previous knowledge of, or exposure to, SAP.
Proven experience loading and unloading trailers and trucks — essential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A positive attitude and the ability to build strong working relationships.
The ability to lead, motivate and support a team.
Strong attention to safety and operational procedures.
Full working rights in Australia.
Current Australian driver's licence and reliable transport.
Ability to attend a Teams interview and/or an on-site meeting with the client prior to commencing.
