Junee District Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department and Acute team on a 12-week contract basis, starting as soon as possible. This is an in-charge role that will draw on your clinical expertise across emergency, acute, and medical-surgical settings. You'll be stepping into a position that values experienced practitioners who can lead a busy department with confidence and clinical judgment.

Preferred Requirements

n

Current Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA
n
Demonstrated experience in emergency department,



acute care, medical-surgical, or aged care nursing
n
Proven in-charge experience and the ability to lead a clinical team
n
Solid triage assessment skills and experience managing patient flow in busy settings
n
Robust clinical communication and the capacity to work autonomously in a regional hospital setting
n

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
n
Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) or equivalent certification
n
Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated ongoing career development in emergency or acute care nursing
