Year 11 Maths Tutor – Edgecliff, Sydney

Matching Minds is looking for an experienced and reliable Maths Tutor to provide face-to-face tutoring for a Year 11 student in Edgecliff, Sydney.

This is a excellent opportunity for a high-achieving university student, teacher, pre-service teacher or experienced tutor looking for regular part time tutoring work.

The role

You will provide one-to-one, in-person Maths tutoring to a Year 11 student at their home in Edgecliff.

The focus will be on:
Supporting the student with their current Year 11 Maths coursework
Identifying and addressing knowledge gaps
Building confidence with problem-solving
Preparing for assessments and exams
Developing strong study habits and mathematical understanding

What we’re looking for We’re looking for someone who:
Has strong Maths knowledge at a senior secondary level
Has experience tutoring or teaching secondary school students
Is confident working with a Year 11 student
Can travel to Edgecliff, Sydney
Communicates clearly and builds solid rapport with students
Is reliable, patient and well organised





Experience with the NSW HSC Maths curriculum is highly regarded.

Requirements

Applicants must have, or be willing to obtain:
A current Working with Children Check
An ABN
Relevant tutoring or teaching experience

High-achieving university students with strong Maths results are also encouraged to apply.
