Brief Description

We own and manage farms, factories, and distribution channels, ensuring complete control over the essential aspects of bringing livestock from paddock to plate.

We are currently seeking Yard Driver to join our transport team in Warrnambool, Victoria.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
Load, unload and move semi-trailers around the Midfield site
Operate the automatic Daysworth terminal tractor
Shuttle trailers in and out of Midfield premises
Deliver offal and by-products to Midfield-owned sites as required
Complete pre-start and post-shift vehicle checks
Maintain vehicles in a clean and tidy condition
Report any safety, maintenance or operational issues to the supervisor/manager
Maintain accurate driving records and documentation
Follow all company safety, hygiene and operational procedures
Drive safely and comply with all road laws and driving requirements
Wear required PPE and maintained a safe and hygienic work environment
Work predominantly Monday to Friday,



with dayshift and nightshift hours available and occasional Saturday mornings
Be reliable, flexible and willing to undertake other duties and training as required
Embrace and utilise new technology and systems

Skills & Experiences
Appropriate heavy vehicle licence and relevant driving experience
Previous experience operating a terminal tractor or similar equipment is desirable
Good understanding of road safety and relevant driving requirements
Reliable, safety-focused and responsible
Positive communication and teamwork skills
Positive attention to detail and record-keeping skills
Ability to work flexible schedule, including occasional Saturday mornings
Willingness to learn and undertake training
