Yard Hand / Recycling Labourer

Location: Beaudesert, QLD

Roster: Monday to Friday + overtime as required

Duration: 6-month initial placement with potential extension

About the Role

We are seeking reliable and hardworking Yard Hands / Recycling Labourers to support daily operations at a busy organics recycling facility. This is a hands-on outdoor role involving general labouring, material handling, site maintenance, and assisting plant operators.

Key Duties
Assist with processing and sorting organic materials.
Remove contamination from incoming materials.
Perform general yard and labouring duties.
Maintain stockpile areas and site cleanliness.
Support plant and equipment operators.
Complete basic equipment and site checks.
Follow all WHS, environmental, and operational procedures.
Wear PPE and maintain a secure work environment.

Requirements
Previous labouring, yard hand,



recycling, landscaping, agriculture, or similar experience preferred.
Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks.
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Strong commitment to workplace safety.
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
Ability to follow instructions and work procedures.
Valuable communication skills.
Current White Card required.

Ideal Candidate A dependable and safety-focused worker with a robust work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn. Previous industry experience is beneficial but not essential.

Pay: $38.75 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
