The Opportunity
As theRegional Health & Safety Manager,you will lead the strategic direction and operational delivery of safety across a complex, multi-project infrastructure portfolio spanning Victoria and Tasmania.
Reporting to the General Manager and based in our Hawthorn East VIC office, you will play a critical role in aligning national safety frameworks with regional execution.
Partner closely with project teams and senior leaders to ensure compliance and support the successful delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach and support regional safety teams to drive consistency and performance
Maintain oversight of critical risks, high-risk projects and emerging safety issues
Ensure compliance with regulatory, contractual and BMD safety requirements
Drive safety systems, reporting, and assurance activities across the region
Lead incident response, investigations and implementation of learnings
Deliver continuous improvement initiatives and build regional safety capability
About You




You're an experienced safety leader with a strong track record operating within large-scale civil construction environments, bringing strategic capability and practical, field-based influence.
Extensive experience (typically 8–12+ years) leading health and safety across multiple projects or operational environments.
Solid knowledge of Victorian and Tasmanian workplace health and safety legislation and industry best practice.
Demonstrated experience undertaking incident investigations, audits and risk management activities.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Workplace Health and Safety or a related discipline.
A current driver's licence and willingness to travel regularly.
