About the role

This is a hands-on role suited to a tradesperson who can confidently work across welding, fabrication, fitting and trailer repairs and is comfortable taking on a variety of jobs.

Key responsibilities
MIG welding, general welding for both steel and aluminium fabrication
Heavy vehicle trailer body building and fabrication
Fitting and assembly of trailer components
Trailer repairs and modifications
Hydraulic and mechanical fitting work
Tarp fitting and repairs
Tailgate and trailer body assembly
General maintenance and repair work
Reading and working from drawings
Working safely and maintaining a clean, organised workshop

About you
Has solid experience in welding / heavy trailer or truck body building




Is a confident all-rounder who can tackle different jobs
Has robust welding and fabrication skills
Can work independently and as part of a team
Takes pride in the quality of their workmanship
Has a valuable understanding of workshop safety
Is reliable, punctual and has a positive attitude
Holds a current driver's licence
Has heavy vehicle or trailer experience, which is highly regarded

Pay: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 38.0 per week
