Weekend Position | Saturday & Sunday | 9:30am – 6:00pm Cater Care is looking for a passionate Chef to join our team at one of our aged care sites in Glen Waverley.

This is more than just a kitchen role. You’ll play an important part in supporting the health, wellbeing and quality of life of our residents by preparing fresh, nutritious and high-quality meals that they can enjoy every day.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and present fresh, high-quality meals for residents and staff
Assist with bulk meal preparation and daily kitchen operations
Deliver friendly and productive service
Maintain a clean, secure, and well-organised kitchen
Follow food safety and workplace health standards




Prepare texture-modified meals with care and attention

About You Desired Skills and Experience
Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
Previous experience in a similar role (aged care experience desirable but not essential)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication, time management, and attention to detail
A positive attitude and passion for creating excellent food
