Summary:

Reporting to the Processing Crew Supervisor, the Operator Scrubbing, Milling and Lime plays a crucial role in the processing operations at our Mount Morgan facility. This position is responsible for ensuring the effective entry of materials through scrubbing, milling, and lime application, contributing to the overall productivity and safety of our Gold and Copper recoveries. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of mining processes and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety. A keen appreciation of the importance of throughput and steady feed to support our operations.

Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor scrubbing, milling, and lime processing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure safety.
Record and report production data, including material quantities and processing times.




Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.
Adhere to safety protocols (SWI’s) and environmental regulations at all times.
Assist in recent operators understanding what the job role involves and provide guidance on best practices.

Qualifications:
Proven experience in a similar role within the mining industry.
Robust understanding of scrubbing, milling, and lime processes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Be mechanically minded.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly.
Commitment to safety and environmental standards.
Relevant qualifications eg Cert 3 Processing (desirable)
