This role involves a significant amount of physical support, including manual handling, transfers and mobility assistance.
Key responsibilities
Personal care and showering assistance
Physical support with mobility and transfers
Meal preparation and meal-time support
Medication assistance and management
Support with daily living activities
Light household duties
Ongoing encouragement to maximise independence and rehabilitation outcomes
About you
Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support or currently completing a Certificate
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check




Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module
Current Driver's Licence
Reliable, insured vehicle and ability to travel to the participant's home
A person-centred approach to support
Confidence providing personal care, manual handling and physical support
Ability to work consistently across the required roster
This role is located in Haddon, so please ensure you are comfortable travelling to and working in this location.
The successful support workers may also have the opportunity to pick up additional hours supporting other participants in the surrounding area, where there is a suitable match and shared availability.
