About the Role
We're looking for an experienced and hands‐onSite Managerto lead our Manufacturing team inWulkuraka.
Reporting to theOperations Manager – AUSblue, you'll be at the heart of our day-to-day operations — leading the production team, keeping things running safely and efficiently, and making sure quality and production targets are achieved.
This is more than just overseeing the floor.

Key Responsibilities
Lead, supervise and support the day-to-day activities of the production team, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Coach, mentor and develop team members through ongoing training, performance feedback and skills development.
Ensure production schedules, quality standards and site KPIs are achieved while maintaining operational efficiency.
Promote and enforce compliance with Workplace Health & Safety, environmental and quality systems, including ISO ****, ISO ***** and ISO *****.
Monitor site operations, identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement initiatives to improve productivity, reduce waste and optimise plant performance.




Ensure preventative maintenance, equipment inspections and calibration activities are completed to maximise plant reliability and minimise downtime.
Maintain accurate production records, batch documentation, inventory transactions, stocktakes and cycle counts.
Manage inventory levels, including slow-moving and quarantined stock, to support production requirements and budget targets.
Ensure all site procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are current, with employees appropriately trained and competency assessments completed.
Investigate and report safety incidents, hazards and near misses, participate in risk assessments, and drive corrective actions to maintain a safe workplace.
Work collaboratively with Operations, Planning, Warehouse and other internal stakeholders to ensure customer requirements and operational objectives are met.
Analyse and report on P&L; for the site
Foster a positive team culture by promoting accountability, open communication, continuous improvement and secure work practices.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Current Forklift Licence.
Minimum 5 years' experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment.
Experience operating and maintaining production facilities.
Strong leadership, coaching and team development skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Commitment to workplace health, safety and environmental compliance.
Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Sage X3 experience is advantageous).
