Degani Box Hill is currently looking for a fulltime Sous Chef. The successful candidate will focus on satisfying customer needs, preparing food and run day today kitchen operations.Responsibilities are as follows:
A hands on role showing leadership in quality workmanship and brilliant presentation in a fast pace environment
Prepare food for cooking
Prepare food using necessary ingredients and equipement
Check food to ensure its quality
Train the kitchen staff, while establishing a working environment adheres to proper work schedule
Take full responsibility in ordering supplies including proper stock inventory
Follow the Australian health regulations and safety standards

Suitable candidate is
Fully qualified as a chef
Minimum 3 years experience in a similar workplace
High level of skills in teamwork and leadership
Ability to work with limited supervision
Excellent communication skills
Be able to create recent menus
have adaptable availability and reliability to work a varying work roster

Pay: $79,900.00 – $89,528.40 per year
