About the Role

As an Orthopaedic Specialist, you will provide patient-centred care across consultation, diagnosis, and treatment for both trauma and elective cases. You will perform surgical procedures with a solid focus on patient safety and participate in the on-call roster, managing acute orthopaedic emergencies.

You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and deliver individualised care plans, contribute to quality improvement, and provide teaching and mentorship to junior doctors, medical students, and the wider MDT.

Nelson Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon to join our agile and collaborative team. Our Orthopaedic service provides a wide range of care, including trauma, elective procedures, and specialist orthopaedic services.
