Software Developer | AI focused | Hawthorn (largely on-site) | $140k - $160k + Super

An AI-focused business is looking for a dedicated developer to build and own its internal systems, working closely with a founder who is deeply invested in practical AI adoption across the business.

About the role

You will support and build out "Connect," a centralised internal data hub feeding to and from external systems, built on a well documented Laravel and Vue platform. There is no pressure to stick rigidly to the current stack. What matters more is your ability to pick up current tools and frameworks as the platform evolves.

You will work on
Full stack development across a live, actively used internal platform
AI initiatives and automation, partnering closely with existing external AI consultants
Close collaboration with a working group of internal AI champions across finance, transactions and investment management
Direct collaboration with the founder and CEO on AI-driven priorities





About you
Energetic, collaborative and hands-on, comfortable working closely with founders and stakeholders
Solid AI expertise a priority, genuine hands-on experience with AI tools and workflows
Comfortable picking up recent frameworks and tools without needing deep experience in each one first
A strong communicator who can translate business needs into working solutions
Comfortable with a 100% on-site requirement, this business values in-person presence
