Operating in the Tier 1 sector and recognised with multiple National Steel Awards, we run a large-scale facility in Truganina equipped with 7 overhead cranes (up to 30t capacity) and advanced automated processing equipment.

About the Role

This is a pivotal role within our business. You’ll own workshop production and be the link between our project team and the workshop floor, keeping production running smoothly and ensuring the right information and resources reach the right people at the right time. Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders are essential.

Key Responsibilities
Act as the key point of contact between Project Managers/Engineers and the workshop, ensuring project requirements translate smoothly into production
Own the production schedule and coordinate day-to-day logistics and resourcing to keep jobs moving on time and on budget
Prepare and release fabrication packs to the workshop floor
Manage supplier relationships and follow up on deliveries to avoid production delays




Liaise & work closely with the Foreman and workshop team to manage workflow and priorities
Monitor stock and resourcing levels, proactively flagging any gaps that could affect the schedule
Resolve production bottlenecks and scheduling conflicts
Ensure quality, safety, and compliance standards are maintained on the workshop floor

What We're Looking For
Experience in a production, coordination, or scheduling role within structural steel fabrication
Solid organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent communication skills, comfortable liaising with engineers, project managers, suppliers, and workshop staff
A proactive, hands-on approach with positive problem-solving ability
Familiarity with steel fabrication processes, materials, and terminology highly regarded
Experience with STRUMIS or similar fabrication/production software is a plus
