About the Role
Join a busy gastroenterology service providing inpatient, outpatient, hepatology, and endoscopy care across Darwin hospitals. Manage a broad mix of gastrointestinal and liver conditions, participate in endoscopy and on-call services, and support multidisciplinary care. The role also includes supervision and teaching of junior medical staff. Remote outreach work may be required. International candidates can be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Provide gastroenterology and hepatology services.
Manage inpatient and outpatient workloads.
Participate in endoscopy and on-call rosters.
Supervise and teach junior doctors.
Support quality improvement and clinical governance.
Essential Criteria
Eligible for AHPRA registration.
FRACP,
final-year Advanced Trainee, or comparable overseas-trained specialist.
Experience in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy.
Solid clinical, communication, and leadership skills.
Commitment to multidisciplinary care and Aboriginal health outcomes.
