Now, we're looking for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our Ground & Underground team — someone who's ready to lead, mentor and push technical boundaries.
What you'll do You'll play a key role in delivering technically complex, high-impact projects while helping grow the capability of those around you.
In this role, you will: Lead geotechnical design across feasibility, concept and detailed phasesApply advanced analysis using tools like PLAXIS, GeoStudio, Rocscience and moreWork across diverse environments — in-office, remote and embedded with clientsContribute to winning work through proposals and client engagementMentor and guide junior engineers, building team capabilityCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative, practical outcomesOccasional attendance on site to support project delivery What you'll bring You're technically strong, commercially aware and passionate about continuous learning.




We're looking for:10+ years' geotechnical engineering experienceRPEQ certification is requiredStrong experience with FE modelling and geotechnical softwareDefence clearance (or ability to obtain)Willingness to attend site as requiredProven ability to deliver high-quality designs and reportsConfidence engaging with clients and stakeholdersA team-oriented mindset and a passion for mentoringInvolvement in industry bodies such as AGS is (desirable) Why Aurecon?
