About the role

Perth City Auto Group is an established, growing automotive business in Perth seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead our service department and ensure smooth, efficient, customer‑focused operations on a daily basis. Our reputation and customer satisfaction drive our success. We're looking for a Service Manager who can lead the team to deliver exceptional results every time, ensuring every customer leaves confident and happy with the service they receive.

Key responsibilities
Lead, coach, and manage technicians and service staff
Oversee daily workflow to ensure timely, high‑quality job completion
Manage bookings, customer communication, and escalations where required
Maintain workshop inventory, tooling, and equipment readiness
Support the team with diagnosis and technical problem‑solving
Track labour efficiency, parts usage, and overall profitability
Uphold safety standards and compliance requirements
Report on performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities
Work closely with management on staffing, planning, and operational strategy
Manage leave, commissions, and service department compliance and administration

About you




Experienced Service Manager or senior workshop leader
Strong technical knowledge of servicing and repair processes
A confident, steady leader who can motivate and develop a team
Excellent communicator with solid customer service skills
Proficient with contemporary service management software (experience with Pentana highly regarded)
Highly organised, able to multitask, and effective under pressure
Proactive problem‑solver with a continuous improvement mindset
Relevant qualifications and training (advantageous)
Valid driver's licence
