Salary: $186,241 - $229,825 p.a. + incentives | VMO sessional rates available

About the Role

Join a busy regional Emergency Department providing specialist emergency care within a large Base Hospital. Working with a multidisciplinary team, you will deliver high-quality clinical care, participate in the consultant on-call roster, support education and training, and contribute to excellent patient outcomes. Prospects may also exist to support other regional hospitals. International candidates can be considered where eligible.

Key Responsibilities
Provide specialist Emergency Medicine care
Participate in the consultant on-call roster
Support teaching, supervision and staff development
Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
Assist with service delivery across the health network as required

Essential Criteria




AHPRA Specialist Registration in Emergency Medicine (FACEM)
Recent Emergency Medicine experience at specialist level
Robust communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to teaching and continuous improvement
Ability to participate in on-call requirements
