About the role

We are seeking a highly capable and adaptable Site Engineer/Project Engineer to join an established head contractor who completes projects within the LArge scale residential, and commercial build space in Sydney, NSW. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and coordination of construction projects, ensuring their successful and timely delivery, working alongside project managers, site managers, and site foremen, CA etc.

Projects are residential high-rise, mixed-use, and commercial up to $100M, multiple projects at ECI and under construction, great time to join the business and progress with the team.

What you'll be doing
Providing Construction expertise and technical support to the construction team
Developing and implementing project plans, schedules, and budgets
Monitoring project progress and identifying and resolving any issues or risks
Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
Ensuring compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards
Conducting site inspections and managing quality control processes
Preparing progress reports and presentations for management and clients

What we're looking for




Relevant local tertiary qualification in engineering or construction management
Minimum 2 - 5 years' experience in a similar site engineer/ project Engineer role within the construction industry
Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and time management skills
Robust communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders
Proficiency in project management software and tools
Thorough understanding of construction processes, methods, and regulations
A demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety
