An exciting chance with an ATTRACTIVE SALARY in the HORTICULTURUAL / AGRICULTURAL sector.
Primary Duties:
Managing the day-to-day farming operations (planting, spraying, harvesting)
Co-ordinating and carrying out all planting and harvesting activities
Manage irrigation and paddock preparation
Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of all farm equipment, infrastructure, and facilities
Oversee harvesting, post-harvest handling, packaging and dispatch of produce (ready for markets)
Supervise a small team
Ability to understand and operate various types of agri-machinery
Coordinate the implementation of occupational health and safety requirements
Deliver product to markets (when required)
To be successful in the role, you will have:
Experience in agriculture / horticulture.
Forklift license (prefered or willing to obtain)
Minimum MR License (prefered or willing to obtain)
Chemcert Certificate (prefered or willing to obtain)
Tractor Experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
