Career Medical Officer

Location: Dubbo, NSW

Employment Type: Full time or Part-Time

Salary: $150,000-$220,000 + $3,000 relocation package

Start Date: Flexible to February 2027

About the Role

Join a busy private hospital as a Career Medical Officer (CMO), providing high-quality patient care under the supervision of Visiting Medical Officers. You will manage patient reviews, admissions, emergencies, and discharge planning while working within a supportive multidisciplinary team. Flexible rostering and career development are available. International candidates can be considered.

Key Responsibilities
Assess and review patients.
Prescribe medications and arrange investigations.
Respond to medical emergencies.
Support discharge planning and patient transfers.
Liaise with specialists, GPs, patients, and allied health teams.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation.

Essential Criteria




Current unrestricted AHPRA registration.
Relevant clinical and procedural experience.
Ability to work independently and on-call.
Robust communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
