Job Description
n
Reporting to the Manager, BI and Finance, you'll play a key role in supporting the organisation's growing reporting and analytics needs. With several concurrent projects underway, you'll help increase team capacity while delivering scalable, high-quality reporting solutions.
n
This role will focus on:
n
n
Supporting the migration of reporting and data assets from SQL Server to Databricks
n
Designing and implementing robust data models that align with BI best practices
n
Developing, maintaining and enhancing Power BI dashboards and reports
n
Refactoring existing reports to improve usability, performance and governance
n
Writing and optimising SQL queries to extract, transform and validate data
n
Building DAX measures and semantic models that support business decision-making
n
Working closely with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights
n
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across reporting, analytics and data management functions
n
Work to KPIs and performance targets in a fast-paced, purpose-driven workplace
n

Qualifications
n
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
n
n




Demonstrated experience working with Databricks in a reporting or analytics environment
n
Strong Power BI development experience, including dashboards, data models and DAX
n
Solid SQL skills with experience working in SQL Server environments
n
Experience designing and optimising data models for reporting and analytics
n
Strong understanding of BI best practices, data governance and reporting standards
n
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
n
Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple projects and deadlines
n
n
Desirable:
n
n
Experience working on data migration or transformation projects
n
Exposure to Employment Services, Government contracting, or large multi-site organisations
n
Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Business Intelligence or a related discipline
n
n
