We’re a local, family owned and run, general equipment, vehicle and trailer hire company, looking for a skilled mechanic to join our team. This role could be tailored around either a full time, part time or casual employment basis depending on the applicant’s requirements or skill set.

The Role n

As a General Mechanic, you’ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of company equipment, including:

Trailers bearings
n
Construction and plant machinery under 3T (e.g., excavators, bobcats, mini dumpers etc.)
n
Landscaping equipment such as stump grinders, petrol aerators and rotary hoes
n
Small engines and power tools
n

Key Responsibilities nn
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
n




Conduct regular servicing and preventative maintenance
n
Maintain accurate service and inspection records
n
Work independently and as part of a team
n
Assist with breakdowns and field repairs when required
n
Maintaining a clean, organised and well-stocked workshop
n

Requirements nn
Proven experience as a mechanic (heavy vehicle, plant, or general)
n
Robust diagnostic and problem-solving skills
n
