ICU/Anaesthetist Registrar – Intensive Care & Anaesthetics

About the Role

Accredited training chance for a Phase 1 or Phase 2 ICU trainee in a leading regional hospital. The role includes 6 months of accredited core ICU training and 6 months of accredited anaesthetics training. You will provide high-quality care to critically ill and perioperative patients while working alongside experienced consultants in a supportive multidisciplinary team. International candidates can be considered.

Key Responsibilities
Assess, diagnose and manage ICU and perioperative patients under supervision
Participate in ICU and anaesthetic service delivery
Conduct clinical handovers and coordinate multidisciplinary care
Complete pre-admission and perioperative assessments
Participate in teaching, education, audits and research
Join the on-call roster





Essential Criteria
MBBS or equivalent
AHPRA registration or eligibility
Ideally CICM Phase 1 or 2 trainee
Strong communication and teamwork skills
