Job Description
BroadwaterPrivate Day Hospital (Southport, Gold Coast) and Little Edward Day Hospital(Spring Hill, Brisbane)(primary based Spring Hill, Brisbane)
Are you anexperienced healthcare administration leader who is passionate about deliveringhigh-quality patient service, supporting teams, and drivingoperationalexcellence?
We are seeking an experienced, organised and hands‐on Team Leader to lead administration services across Broadwater Private Day Hospital and Little Edward Day Hospital, both part of the Monash IVF Group.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive leader who enjoys balancing operational oversight with day‐to‐day involvement in the team, ensuring exceptional patient service, efficient administrative processes, and a positive team culture across both sites.
Reporting tothe Patient Services Manager and working closely with the Director of Nursing, you will provide hands‐on leadership to a small administration team, support smoothdaily operations, and help deliver a positive experience for patients, doctors,visitors, and stakeholders.
Regulartravel between both hospital locations is required.
The successful candidatemust hold a current unrestricted Queensland driver licence and have access to areliable, registered vehicle.
The role also requires flexibility to commencework from 6:00am.
Onsite parking is provided at both locations.
About the role
Lead,support, coach and develop administration staff across both sites.
Ensureaccurate patient information, including financial consent, health fund checksand account enquiries.
Coordinateworkflows,rosters, leave coverage and administration priorities.
Maintainaccurate records and support confidentiality, compliance andaccreditationrequirements.
Buildeffective relationships internal and external stakeholders
Support theatre list preparation,patientdocumentation,monthly reporting, incident reporting, andcontinuousimprovementinitiatives.
Promote exceptional customer service and supportcontinuous improvement initiatives.
Lead,support, coach and develop administration staff across both sites.
Overseeadmissions, bookings, scheduling, discharges, billing, receipting and end‐of‐day banking.
Ensureaccurate patient information, including financial consent, health fund checksand account enquiries.
Coordinateworkflows,rosters, leave coverage and administration priorities.
Maintainaccurate records and support confidentiality, compliance andaccreditationrequirements.
Buildeffective relationships internal and external stakeholders
Support theatre list preparation,patientdocumentation,monthly reporting, incident reporting, andcontinuousimprovementinitiatives.
Promote exceptional customer service and supportcontinuous improvement initiatives.
About you
You are aproactive, people-focused administration leader with healthcare, medicalpractice or hospital administration experience.
You bring strongorganisation,attentionto detail and the ability to balance operational priorities whilesupporting a team.
Healthcare,medical practice or hospital administration experience.Day Hospital or Day Surgery experience highly desirable
Previousleadership or supervisory experience.
Strong emotional intelligence and demonstrated ability to buildeffective relationships and influence across a diverse stakeholder group
Knowledge of private healthcare funding and health fund billing.
Excellentorganisationaland time management skills.
Abilityto improve processes, drive efficiencies and manage competing priorities.
Highcomputer literacy, including Microsoft Office and healthcare managementsystems; FYDO experience is highly regarded.
Understandingof patient administration, billing, private health fund processes andscheduling.
SatisfactoryNationalPolice Certificate.
CurrentunrestrictedQueensland driver licence and willingness to travel between sites.
