Job DescriptionWe are seeking 20 reliable and hardworking full-time Flower Farm Workers to join our flower-growing operation in Galston, NSW.
The successful applicants will work as part of a farm team and assist with the day-to-day growing, harvesting and preparation of flowers for sale.
Hours : 38 hours per Week - Work Hours are 6am to 2pm Monday to Friday, however these hours may change during peak times and there may be some weekend work involved.
If there is overtime, you will be paid accordingly to the award wage overtime category.
Employment period: 3 years Proposed start date: 1 January ****
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties will include:
Planting and caring for flowers and crops
Preparing soil and planting beds
Weeding and maintaining growing areas
Watering and general crop maintenance
Picking and harvesting flowers
Sorting and preparing flowers for sale
Bunching and packing flowers
Maintaining clean and organised work areas
Assisting with general farm duties
Following workplace health and safety procedures




Working cooperatively as part of a team
The work is physically active and involves regular outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
Employment Conditions
Full time employment
38 hours per week
3-year employment period
Work location: Galston, NSW
Employment commencing approximately 1 January ****
Employment conditions and remuneration will comply with applicable Australian workplace laws, Level 1 Award Wage Farm Hand.

Willing to perform repetitive physical tasks
Able to follow instructions

Able to work independently and as part of a team
Interested in learning flower-farming techniques
Previous agricultural or horticultural experience is desirable but not essential where training can be provided.
