Insurance Financial Adviser - Permanent full-time position
About the role
We're looking for an experiencedInsurance Financial Adviserto join Avant Life's Financial Planning team in Sydney.
You'll provide specialised personal financial advice to Avant members, medical professionals and their families, with a focus onlife insurance and personal risk protection, both inside and outside superannuation.
You'll build trusted client relationships and provide tailored, compliant advice that helps medical professionals protect themselves, their families and their businesses.
What you'll be doing
Providing personal advice acrossLife, TPD, Trauma and Income Protection insurance
Advising on insurance strategies includingkey person, business overheads and buy/sell arrangements
Building and maintaining strong relationships with Avant members and medical professionals
Working closely with internal stakeholders to deliver a seamless client experience
Conducting research and preparing high-quality, compliant advice
Maintaining solid compliance and regulatory standards




UsingXPLANfor advice and workflow management andCommpayfor premiums
Working with dedicated advice support officers so you can focus on client relationships and financial advice
About you
You'll be an ethical and experienced financial adviser with a strong track record inpersonal life insurance adviceand excellent interpersonal skills.
You'll bring:
An approvedBachelor's degree (AQF7) or above, or an alternative pathway recognised under current legislation
Current or eligibleASIC registration as a Relevant Provider, including meeting Fit and Proper requirements
Demonstrated experience providing personal advice on retail life insurance products
Deep knowledge of the Australian life insurance sector, includingLife, TPD, Trauma, Income Protection and superannuation
Experience using life insurance strategies within business structures
Demonstrated experience usingXPLAN, including workflow management, andCommpay.
