To ensure these high standards are continually met, and as a result of recently won contracts, the prospect has become available for a Painter to join our expanding business.

We are seeking a candidate with robust experience in the painting industry.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
Perform painting & spray-painting tasks on a variety of products, surfaces and structures
Prepare paint to the desired colour and consistency, mixing portions of pigment, thinning and drying additives
Apply paints, primers and stains to surface using brushes, rollers and spray-guns
Prepare structures/items/parts for the application of paint/coating (sanding, cleaning, masking, filling holes/cracks, sealing surfaces etc)
Comply with job cards and company procedure to ensure client specifications are met




Complete necessary paperwork
Protect surrounding areas, place drop sheets to protect from paint splattering/droplets
Prioritise workflow and ensure work is completed to quality standards
Comply with OH&S; guidelines at all times
Maintain a clean and tidy workspace
Assist in other tasks on the factory floor as required

Skills & Requirements
Painting experience 2 years
Experience with cleaning, filling holes/cracks, sealing surfaces and masking
High attention to detail
Punctual and reliable
