An established commercial construction contractor is looking for an experienced Construction Foreman / Supervisor to join their growing Brisbane team.

The Projects

You'll work across a diverse range of commercial projects throughout Brisbane and surrounding areas, including:

Education
n
Defence
n
Aged Care
n
Commercial

Fit‐Out & Refurbishment
n
Live environment projects
n
n
The Role
n
Working closely with the Site Manager and Project Manager, you will be responsible for the day‐to‐day coordination and supervision of site activities, including:
n
n
Coordinating subcontractors and trades
n
Managing daily site activities and programme requirements
n
Maintaining high standards of quality and workmanship
n
Ensuring WHS and site compliance
n
Conducting site inductions and toolbox talks
n




Monitoring progress against programme
n
Assisting with short‐term planning and sequencing of works
n
Liaising with the wider project team, subcontractors and suppliers
n
Identifying and resolving site issues
n
Driving projects through to successful handover
n
n
About You
n
We're looking for someone who has:
n
n
Previous experience as a Foreman, Site Supervisor or similar within commercial construction
n
Experience across commercial fit‐out, refurbishment and/or construction projects
n
Strong trade and subcontractor coordination skills
n
Good understanding of construction sequencing and methodology
n
Strong focus on safety, quality and programme
n
Excellent communication and problem‐solving skills
n
Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented site team
n
Relevant construction qualifications, tickets and licences
n
