Business Service Graduate/Junior Accountant (Part-Time)

Located in Hurstville CBD NSW, an established and reputable Accounting firm is currently seeking to recruit a part-time graduate/junior level Accountant.
n
You will be given lots of opportunities to gain exposure to more complex work as part of your learning progression. The main focus of the position will be:
n
Preparation of financial statements and tax returns
n
BAS/IAS/Payroll
n
Liaise with the ATO and other regulatory bodies
n
Working towards deadlines
n
In addition to ad hoc tasks as assigned from time to time.
n
The Ideal Candidate
n
Studying towards CPA/CA
n
Experience with Handitax, Handiledger, XERO and MYOB is a plus, but not required
n




Have a right to work in Australia
n
Cantonese and Mandarin Speaker (Highly Preferred)
n
Hard working, reliable and can-do attitude
n
Ability to work in a rapid-paced team environment
n
Ability to multi-task/prioritise and manage time effectively and efficiently
n
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
n
Strong attention to detail
n
Proficienty in Mircrosoft Office applications, and ability to quickly learn new software
n
Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
