⭐Cleanworks Australia is seeking an experienced Leading Hand Cleaner to join our team, responsible for supervising and supporting a cleaning team across school sites in Paralowie. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality commercial cleaning standards while supporting and guiding a team to achieve excellent results. You will play a key role in ensuring school facilities are maintained to a high standard, providing clean, safe and welcoming environments for students, staff and visitors.

Part Time Award

Level 2 + Leading Hand Allowance

Shift Times: Paralowie: 4:30pm — 8:30pm I Monday — Friday

⭐ About the Role

Your Responsibilities Will Include
Leading and supervising a team of commercial cleaners
Allocating daily cleaning tasks and ensuring completion to required standards
Conducting quality checks and providing feedback and support to team members
Training and assisting recent team members with cleaning procedures and site requirements




Maintaining robust communication with management and site contacts
Cleaning classrooms, offices, staff areas and common spaces
Cleaning bathrooms, kitchens and amenities
Vacuuming, mopping, dusting and sanitising surfaces
Managing consumables, equipment and reporting maintenance issues
Ensuring workplace health and safety procedures are followed
Supporting school holiday cleaning requirements when required

Requirements
Clear communication skills
Valid and current WWCC and Police Check
Experience in school or commercial cleaning preferred
Experience in periodical cleaning (carpet cleaning, window cleaning, scrubber machines) is an advantage
Skilled, well-presented, and confident working in a school environment
Able to work independently and manage responsibilities effectively
