We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our Bush Regeneration Team, playing a crucial role in preserving and enhancing our natural environments. This position is ideal for those who are passionate about the outdoors, conservation, and have a keen interest in ecological sustainability.

Weed Management:
Identify and control invasive weed species using various methods such as hand weeding, chemical control, and other creative techniques.
n
Habitat Management:
Assist in the restoration and maintenance of native habitats, including wetlands, forests, and grasslands.
n
Planting:
Participate in the planting of native species, ensuring the right species are planted in appropriate areas to promote biodiversity.
n
Land Management:
Work on various aspects of land management including erosion control, soil stabilization, and restoration of natural areas.
n
Invasive Species Management:
Identify and manage invasive flora and fauna that threaten local ecosystems.
n
Surveying:
Conduct environmental and ecological surveys, monitoring plant and animal populations, and assessing habitat conditions.
n
Community Engagement:
Participate in community education and engagement activities related to bush regeneration and conservation.
n
Equipment Maintenance:
Maintain and care for tools and equipment used in bush regeneration tasks.
n




Reporting and Documentation:
Keep accurate records of activities, observations, and outcomes related to the regeneration projects.
n
Collaboration:
Work closely with team members, environmental scientists, and local communities to achieve conservation goals.
n
Qualifications: n
n
Passion for environmental conservation and sustainable practices.
n
Cert III/Diploma in Conservation and Land Management
n
OHS Green/White Card
n
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrains.
n
Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor tasks.
n
Basic knowledge of local plant and animal species (preferred).
n
Experience in land management, horticulture, conservation, or a related field (advantageous but not essential).
n
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
n
Willingness to learn and follow environmental guidelines and safety protocols.
n
MUST be studying or willing to study in this field of work.
n
Contributing to vital environmental conservation work.
