We are seeking a hands-on
SAP S/4HANA Functional Expert
to join a major transformation program focused on delivering a modern, scalable enterprise solution supporting complex procurement, inventory and warehouse operations.
n
n
This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping and delivering an end-to-end SAP solution, working closely with business stakeholders, solution architects and technical teams.
n
nThe Role n
n
As the SAP Functional Expert, you will be responsible for designing, configuring and supporting
S/4HANA Operational Procurement and Inventory Management
capabilities.
n
n
You will work across the full project lifecycle, from requirements and solution design through to build, testing, cutover, go-live and post-implementation support.
n
n
Key responsibilities will include:
n
n
n
Designing and implementing
SAP S/4HANA Materials Management (MM)
configuration and functional solutions.
n
n
Developing fit-for-purpose solutions across procurement, inventory replenishment, inventory control and reverse logistics.
n
n
Designing and maintaining key master data structures, including materials, business partners, purchasing information and related procurement data.
n
n
Translating complex business requirements into scalable SAP designs and functional specifications.
n
n




Working closely with Solution Architects to ensure alignment with the broader solution architecture, governance and compliance requirements.
n
n
Supporting integration across
EWM, SD, FI/CO, BTP and external systems
.
n
n
Producing key project artefacts, including process flows, detailed designs, configuration documentation, functional specifications and test scripts.
n
n
Supporting unit testing, SIT, UAT and other testing activities.
n
n
Contributing to cutover planning, deployment and go-live activities.
n
n
Providing expert support during hypercare and post-go-live stabilisation.
n
n
Supporting knowledge transfer and capability uplift across internal teams.
n
n
nAbout You n
n
We are looking for a highly experienced SAP Functional Consultant with a strong background in delivering
original, fit-for-purpose S/4HANA MM and Operational Procurement & Inventory Management solutions
.
n
n
You will ideally bring:
n
n
n
5+ years' experience implementing SAP S/4HANA Materials Management solutions
, including greenfield implementations and/or complex live production environments.
n
n
Strong hands-on experience designing and configuring SAP MM solutions from business requirements through to implementation.
n
n
Experience delivering bespoke SAP designs rather than purely template or rollout-based implementations.
n
n




Robust knowledge of procurement, inventory management, replenishment and related supply chain processes.
n
n
Demonstrated experience integrating SAP MM with
EWM, SD, FI/CO, BTP and external applications
.
n
n
Experience across the full SAP delivery lifecycle, including design, build, configuration, testing, cutover, deployment and hypercare.
n
n
Strong fit-gap analysis, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
n
n
The ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
n
n
n
SAP S/4HANA MM certification would be highly regarded
, along with certifications or experience across related modules such as
EWM or SD
. Experience within healthcare, pharmaceutical, logistics or other complex supply chain environments would also be advantageous.
