Due to significant growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and responsible Trade Assistant to join our expanding team.

Trade Assistant – Passive Fire Protection
n
About the Role
n
As a Trade Assistant, you will work alongside our experienced Passive Fire Technicians across multiple sites throughout Brisbane, the Gold Coast, and the Sunshine Coast.
n
You will assist our senior technicians with all aspects of passive fire protection, including fire-rated penetrations, fire sealing and associated passive fire systems.
n
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with construction experience who is looking to develop their skills and build a long-term career within the passive fire protection industry.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Assist with the installation and repair of fire-rated materials.
n
Install fire-sealing products, fire collars, and fire-rated mastics.
n
Assist with the construction of fire-rated enclosures.
n
Assist technicians with passive fire protection installations and repairs.
n
Register and document passive fire penetrations using our Passive Fire App.
n
Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment.
n
Work across various commercial and construction sites throughout Brisbane, Gold Coast, and Sunshine Coast.
n




Follow all company procedures, project requirements, and WHS standards.
n

About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
Minimum 2 years' construction experience.
n
Previous experience in the fire protection industry is advantageous.
n
Trade or general construction experience.
n
A reliable, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
n
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
n
The ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
n
The ability to follow instructions and work effectively with senior technicians.
n
A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
n
A valid Construction Card (White Card).
n
A valid Australian driver's licence.
n
A reliable and registered personal vehicle.
n
Valid Australian working rights.
n
Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical.
n
