About the Role

Toowoomba Saddlery is seeking a dedicated Saddle Maker to join our growing workshop team. As a Saddle maker, you will play a crucial role in crafting high-quality saddles and tack alongside our experienced team.
n
Whether you're experienced or looking to build your skills, this is a fantastic opportunity to work with a respected Australian manufacturer in full-time position based in Toowoomba, Queensland.

What You'll Be Doing
n
n
Assemble saddles, tack, and associated equipment to specifications
n
Assist experienced saddlers.
n
Operate and maintain specialised saddle-making machinery and tools
n
Carry out quality checks at each stage to maintain our high standards
n
Keep the workshop clean, organised, and safe
n
Safely lift and handle saddles and components (up to 18kg)
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
n
Experience in manufacturing or leatherwork (highly regarded but not essential)
n
Solid attention to detail and pride in your work
n
A reliable, positive work ethic
n




Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
n
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
n
Clear communication skills and ability to follow instructions
n
Must have Australian work rights to be eligible for this position
