About the role

As part of the finance team, you will be in a hands on role responsible for payroll and human resources functions, statutory compliance including BAS, RTW, superannuation and payroll tax, assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable from data entry through to reconciliation, preparation of month end and statutory compliance, communicating with various stakeholders in the business as well as customers and suppliers, and a range of other ad-hoc accounting and administrative duties and projects.

Key responsibilities

About you
An accounting qualification (degree, CA or CPA) or commensurate training and experience in an accounting role
Proven experience in a similar role




Proven experience in all payroll and human resources functions
Proven experience in small to medium sized businesses
Strong excel and computer literacy skills
Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and problem solving skills
An organised approach to work including excellent time management skills and the ability to manage and achieve competing deadlines
Solid communication skills and be comfortable dealing with people over the phone, via email and in person
A high level of motivation, excellent work ethic and an creative approach to your work
