Kitchen All-Rounder

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen All-Rounder to join our café team. The successful candidate will assist with food preparation, cooking, cleaning and general kitchen duties to ensure smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare food and ingredients according to café recipes and standards
Assist with breakfast, lunch and café-style food preparation
Cook and plate food when required
Prepare sandwiches, salads, eggs and other café menu items
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen
Wash dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment
Follow food safety and hygiene procedures
Store food correctly and check stock
Assist with receiving and putting away deliveries
Minimise food waste and maintain positive portion control
Assist other team members during busy periods




Perform general kitchen duties as required

Skills & Requirements
Minimum 2 years of relevant kitchen or café experience
Previous experience as a Kitchen All-Rounder is preferred
Good cooking and food preparation skills
Valuable understanding of food hygiene and safety
Able to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment
Reliable, punctual and responsible
Positive communication and teamwork skills
Able to work independently when required
Available to work weekends and public holidays when required
Food Safety Supervisor certificate is an advantage

Pay: $600.00 – $1,409.52 per week
