An prospect is available for an experienced Workforce Modeller to join a major Federal Government transformation program. This role will provide technical leadership across workforce modelling, forecasting and analytics, helping translate complex policy and operational challenges into practical, evidence-based workforce solutions.
The role n
Working within a specialist future-state modelling team, you will:
n

Design, develop and maintain workforce models, forecasts and analytical solutions.
n
Translate complex workforce, policy and operational requirements into scalable technical products.
n
Develop implementation scenarios and analytical insights to support executive decision-making.
n
Apply advanced problem-solving, systems thinking and solution design within an enterprise Microsoft setting.
n
Establish technical standards across documentation, testing, quality assurance and governance.
n
Build reusable modelling frameworks and solutions that can be maintained and enhanced over time.
n
Mentor analysts, share technical knowledge and strengthen workforce modelling capability across the team.
n
Engage with senior stakeholders to communicate findings, manage risks and support reform priorities.

About you n
n




Strong experience in workforce modelling, forecasting, analytics or a closely related discipline.
n
Advanced technical capability in developing sophisticated analytical models and systems.
n
The ability to turn complex data, policy and operational questions into clear and practical solutions.
n
Experience designing maintainable analytical products using enterprise-approved Microsoft tools and services.
n
Strong knowledge of technical documentation, testing, quality assurance and governance practices.
n
Demonstrated technical leadership, including mentoring and capability development.
n
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to present authoritative advice on complex matters.
n
The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and operate effectively in a changing environment.
n
Australian Citizenship is a mandatory requirement to be eligible for this federal government role.
