Job Description
Seymour Hardware Group (SHG) is looking for a reliable, hard-working Yardman / Delivery Driver to join our team. This is a hands-on role working outside in all Victorian weather conditions. You'll be working with hardware, timber, landscaping supplies, sand, soil and more, serving tradies, builders, landscapers, farmers and DIY customers across Seymour and surrounding areas.

Key responsibilities
n
Loading and unloading customer vehicles
n
Picking and preparing orders
n
Delivering timber, hardware, landscaping supplies, sand and soil
n
Hand unloading all deliveries - no forklift unloading at the customer's end
n
Driving SHG delivery vehicles
n
Operating forklifts around the yard
n
Keeping the yard organised, clean and safe
n
Helping customers with their purchases
n
General yard and hardware duties
n
About you
n
Reliable, punctual and physically fit
n




Comfortable working outside in the heat and cold
n
Capable of heavy lifting and hand unloading deliveries
n
Positive attitude and works well with the team
n
Can work independently and get the job done
n
Takes pride in their work
n
Current driver's licence
n
Forklift licence preferred
n
Hardware, building, landscaping or delivery experience is an advantage
n
