The business is rebuilding their ERP platform into a contemporary web app from the ground up. Core to the re-platforming succeeding is a solid integration layer, the connective tissue that will bridge legacy product and new web applications, provide shared services across the platform, and enable integrations with third-party software products.

Initial scope of this perm role:
Design and build the integration layer bridging legacy and recent systems
Define integration patterns for migration, synchronisation, and coexistence
Build shared services (APIs, messaging, document generation, external integrations)
Work directly with legacy databases (SQL Server, data sync, ETL patterns)

Your role:




Design the architecture and make technology calls
Write code
Work closely with the CTO, Engineering Manager, and other dev leads

About you
Solid background in integration, APIs, and event-driven systems
Hands-on backend engineering experience (.NET / similar)
Cloud experience (Azure preferred)
Ability to operate at both architecture and coding level
Comfortable making decisions in ambiguous, evolving environments
