About the role

We are seeking casual or contract electricians long term for our client who are committed to meeting the expectations of our customers, whilst maintaining a consistent high standard of safety and well-being.

Candidates must hold permanent resident status or Australian citizenship to be eligible for this position.

This role is for immediate start for the right candidate with production experience in the food packaging industry (FCMG manufacturing) with valuable troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, mechanical aptitude and be willing to work as part of an established team.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in food packaging or FMCG manufacturing environments is essential for this role.

To be considered for this role you must hold an Australian recognised Trade Qualification Certificate IV. You would have had previous experience working within the manufacturing workplace, deal with breakdowns and fault finding.

What you will be doing
Performing scheduled and reactive electrical maintenance on industrial packaging equipment
Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical faults across packaging lines




Implementing electrical upgrades and modifications to improve the efficiency and reliability of packaging systems
Ensuring all electrical work meets relevant safety standards and regulatory requirements
Providing electrical support and guidance to the production team
Maintaining detailed records of all electrical work performed

What we are looking for
Qualified electricians casual or contract with a minimum of 5 years experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
Solid knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and packaging equipment
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
Proficient in the use of electrical testing equipment and tools
Excellent problem solving and diagnostic skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

The Role
Day Shift position long term work 4 on 3 off 3 on 4off - Immediate start
6am to 6pm week 1 Sunday to Wednesday, week 2 Monday to Wednesday
Working with industry leading manufacturers
Paid weekly

Pay: $70.00 – $95.00 per hour Expected hours: 36.0 – 48.0 per week
