Head Chef – Omakase Restaurant

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead the kitchen team at our Omakase restaurant.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled chef with strong experience in Japanese cuisine and Omakase dining to take a leading role in our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the kitchen team and daily kitchen operations
Develop and execute high-quality Omakase menus
Prepare and present premium Japanese cuisine to a consistently high standard
Maintain excellent food quality, consistency and presentation
Select and work with high-quality seasonal ingredients
Manage food preparation, ordering, stock control and kitchen costs
Train, mentor and supervise kitchen staff
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
Work closely with the Restaurant Manager and management team
Contribute to menu development and seasonal changes

About You
Proven experience as a Head Chef / Executive Chef / Senior Sous Chef
Strong experience in Japanese cuisine and Omakase




Excellent knife skills and strong knowledge of Japanese cooking techniques
Experience working with premium seafood and seasonal ingredients
Strong understanding of sushi, sashimi and traditional Japanese cuisine
Excellent leadership and team management skills
High attention to detail and strong presentation skills
Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a high-pressure workplace
Passionate about quality, creativity and delivering exceptional dining experiences
