Exciting prospect for an Estimator to join our qualified and friendly team. Working closely with the project team, key responsibilities & abilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Key Responsibilities
Manage variations, EOTs, RFIs, budgets and quotes
Estimating commercial/residential projects from building plans
Ensuring profit margins are maintained.
Working closely with the directors and other team members on tenders & quotes.
Sourcing and reviewing quotes from sub-contractors and suppliers.
Executing tender requests and submissions.
Estimates for variations
Experience & Qualifications
Ability and experience in writing and preparing tenders, registrations of interest, and expressions of interest
Minimum 3-year experience in this role
Construction Knowledge
Proficiency in reading technical drawings and specifications
Robust attention to detail
Computer literacy, including competency in the use of Microsoft programs
Knowledge of RIB CostX desirable
Knowledge of trades and materials
Outstanding time management, organisation & communication skills
