We are looking for a kind-hearted volunteer to spend time with an older person and provide companionship, conversation and friendship.
The volunteer will have the chance to spend quality time together, have conversations, share stories and enjoy friendly company in a relaxed and welcoming setting.
The ideal volunteer will be caring, friendly, a good listener and enjoy connecting with people. This is a wonderful chance to build a genuine connection and make a positive difference in the life of an older person.
All volunteers are required to be 18 years of age or older, undergo a National Police Check, and can expect ongoing support and training from their ACVVS Program Coordinator.

Volunteers are required to visit once per fortnight (although we prefer weekly where possible), duration of visit is up to you. We require a commitment of minimum 6 months - 12 months or longer.
Training
Training is provided in addition to ongoing support from your local Volunteer Program Coordinator
