About the role

You'll be the first point of contact for local homeowners, holiday-let managers and businesses calling about termites, cockroaches, ants, rodents, spiders, wasps and other common Sunshine Coast pests. This is an entry-level admin assistant and receptionist role at Laguna Pest Control, a local pest control team in Noosaville. Complete in-house training is provided. No prior pest or office experience is needed.

Key responsibilities
Answering phones with the company greeting and transferring calls
Booking termite inspections, general pest treatments and follow-up visits
Greeting clients and technicians at the Noosaville office
Keeping the reception area tidy
Managing the company email inbox, digital calendars and booking system
Entering invoices
Updating client records (property details, treatment history and pest notes)
Organising physical and digital files in Google Drive

About you




Follow direction and work well as part of a team
Multitask in a busy office - answering phones, speaking with technicians, and booking jobs at the same time
Handle a rapid-paced work environment
Available full time, Monday to Friday
Can work before and after school hours
Reliable with quite rapid typing skills
Comfortable with Google Workspace and Excel
Good computer skills
Ready to learn how a busy pest control office operates
