Job Description
MacKenzie Quarters is seeking a passionate, qualified Chef to join our close-knit kitchen family in either a full time or part-time basis.
You'll work alongside hands-on, supportive owners and a dedicated crew of experienced Chefs who value generosity, sustainability, and respect.
Work in a modern, fully equipped commercial kitchen housed within a beautifully restored historic landmark, operating across a 130-seat heritage hall, vibrant 60 seat restaurant, and expanding off-site catering offering.
Key responsibilities
Work with premium regional produce across dynamic event banquet menus and elevated restaurant offerings
Maintain food quality, consistency, presentation, and kitchen hygiene
Collaborate with the kitchen team on creative culinary offerings
Contribute to a positive, cooperative kitchen culture
About you
Trade qualifications in Commercial Cookery (Certificate III or equivalent)
Pride in food quality, consistency, presentation, and kitchen hygiene
Strong communication skills and a dependable, team-first attitude
